Announcing TED Talk + Launch of 100% for Purpose Club

Paul Newman would have turned 100 on Sunday, January 26, and we want to take this year to celebrate his generosity and groundbreaking approach to making the world a better place.
In 1982, Paul and his longtime friend A.E. Hotchner did something radical and innovative. They started selling salad dressing through Newman’s Own, and decided to give all the profits made away to good causes. 40+ years later, and we’re still doing it: 100% of the profits and royalties made from the sale of Newman’s Own products go to the Foundation in service of our mission, to nourish and transform the lives of children who face adversity.
The result? Since 1982, Paul and Newman’s Own Foundation have given away over $600 million dollars to incredible organizations such as SeriousFun Children’s Network (also founded by Paul!), FoodCorps, and many more.
Inspired by Paul’s generosity and Newman’s Own, we want to support the next generation of organizations dedicating 100% of their profits for purpose through the launch of the 100% for Purpose™ Club, along with our friends at Humanitix.
Whether you are already a 100% for Purpose organization, are interested in starting or learning more, all are welcome!
Our CEO Alex Amouyel recently recorded a TED Talk about our unique business model, 100% for Purpose organizations, and what the right ingredients are for people who want to get started.

In Paul’s spirit, we invite you all to ‘raise a little hell’. The world cannot wait, and we need different business models and organizations to tackle the world’s greatest challenges. 100% for Purpose organizations can show us the way, and we would love your help!
