Feb 25, 2026

Nourishing Narratives

We’re delighted to support the second year of Nourishing Narratives, a youth film competition from Mosaic Film Experience! Using one of Paul Newman’s platforms—film—we’re inviting kids to share what creating better food futures means to them.

Nourishing Narratives invites youth ages 13-18 in the US to explore imagine what a just, equitable, and fair food system for all looks like. Submissions are open March 6—April 12, 2026!

Awards

Up to 10 films will win a $1,000 cash prize, Newman’s Own prize pack, invitation to a special screening, and more!

“The mobile nature of the Nourishing Narratives film competition challenges the conventions of storytelling, empowering students to share their unique perspectives. Through the use of mobile devices, we’re leveling the playing field for content creation. Throughout the process, students are developing skills like creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, tools that will serve them in any future endeavor, from careers to community leadership.”
